The Golden State Warriors haven’t finished celebrating their new NBA title. However, it looks like bookmakers are confident that they will repeat. Thus, they are the 2023 NBA title favorites. 

Golden State was an 8/1 preseason favorite coming into the 2022 season. The team sealed the deal after its Game 6 win against Boston. Bookies now set the Warriors as the 6/1 favorites to repeat next season. In second place is the Los Angeles Clippers at 7/1. Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and Brooklyn Nets have odds of 8/1 to win the title. 

Another bookie has the Warriors as a +480 favorite, Celtics at +600, Nets at +650, and LAC at +700. Even before the start of the NBA Finals, a bettor at Caesars Sportsbook placed a $10,000 on Golden State to repeat next year.  

According to a sports blog, the Warriors will retain Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson on the roster. Also, they have a new core of Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole. Additionally, James Wiseman is set to return next season. 

On the other hand, the Lakers are 20/1 underdogs after naming Darvin Ham as the new head coach. Also, bookies are waiting for what the team will do during the free agency. Their rivals, the Clippers, are the second favorite due to the impending return of a healthy Kawhi Leonard. 

The Clippers also acquired Robert Covington and Norman Powell. The two new acquisitions can help the team in both offense and defense. Also, the team will depend on Reggie Jackson and Paul George to be the leaders on the court.
